Full-Time Second Shift Operator Prescreening

About the job

This job involves answering, screening, and documenting phone calls made to medical clinics. Applicants should be able to type quickly while having a back-and-forth conversation with the caller and using on-screen account information to inform call processing.

  1. This is a work-from-home position.
  2. You may be assigned weekend shifts with weekly days off falling on weekdays.
  3. Weekly days off may not be assigned contiguously.
  4. We will provide you with the basic necessary equipment to perform your job. This includes a traditional desktop PC, a headset, a keyboard, and a monitor.
  5. You will need to have access to a quiet, secure place to answer calls. No background noise from people, animals, or anything else.
  6. You must have a wired ethernet connection to which you can connect the PC we provide. The minimum required download/upload speed is 5Mbps down/1Mbps up. Please note that services like gaming, streaming, social media can affect your connection, so the minimum requirements may be higher if additional internet services are in use while answering. Wifi is not acceptable and the PC we provide does not have a wifi antenna.
  7. You must be eligible for work in the United States and live in North Carolina. At our discretion, we may consider a particular conviction disqualifying. A background check will be required if your application is selected.
  8. Your typing speed must be 40 words per minute or more. We recommend using MonkeyType to get your typing speed. We will re-test you to verify the accuracy of your claimed typing speed.
